Welcome to the Pisgah Project!
The winner of The Pisgah Project Super Mountain Bike is Robert Lootens from Kentucky! We called Robert yesterday afternoon during a drawing that was live-streamed on Facebook and told him he had won. He called back about 15 minutes later and said “Was that for real, or is this some sort of prank?” Yes, Robert, it’s for real, and you are the lucky winner of a very special bike. He was ecstatic.
We were able to sell 1,241 tickets at $20 each, which raised $24,820 for Pisgah. The Pisgah Conservancy wants to thank everyone for their support of the raffle -- the ticket purchasers and the manufacturers who donated their components to build a super bike fit to take on Pisgah. Cane Creek Cycling Components, Industry Nine, Reeb Cycles, Thomson Bike, Maxxis tires and Oskar Blues all came together to build a one-of-a-kind bike anyone of us would be proud to own.
Huge Thanks to our Partners!
Cane Creek Cycling Components, Industry Nine, Reeb Cycles, Thomson Bike, Maxxis tires, and Oskar Blues Brewery all teamed up to build this special bike that contribued nearly $25,000 to support their local forest system -- the Pisgah Ranger District of the Pisgah National Forest. The Pisgah Project is a one-off bike build with each component selected by the partnering companies. HUGE thanks to each of your!
