In recent years, the Pisgah Ranger District has become one of the most popular destinations for outdoor enthusiasts. On any given day, all types of user groups—hikers, equestrians, cyclists, fishers, hunters, climbers, runners, wildlife conservationists, and the US Forest Service—can be found in Pisgah, enjoying the natural beauty, diverse wildlife, and extensive trail network that make it so exceptional. Offering some of the most challenging terrain in the country, Pisgah has recently distinguished itself as a mountain biking hotspot for enthusiasts from all over.
Our mission for The Pisgah Project is clear
Team up with cycling companies based in the Southeast US, build a bike with top-notch components, then raffle it off—with all of the proceeds benefiting The Pisgah Conservancy.
The Pisgah Conservancy is a relatively new organization and very unique compared to other non-profits. “TPC” operates through an Advisory Council composed of representatives from each user group found in Pisgah. Their decision-making process ensures that each user group is able to participate in all key decisions. I'ts a great example of our community working together to ensure everyone's interests are fairly met!
